Peter J. Blancas, a 58-year-old Topeka resident, has tragically passed away following a fatal incident in the Little Russia neighborhood. Authorities have now confirmed Blancas as the victim of a homicide, marking the 16th such case in Topeka this year.
Details of the Incident
According to a statement from Rosie Nichols with the City of Topeka, Topeka police responded to a medical call at approximately 9:15 a.m. on October 30 in the 500 block of Northeast Gordon Street.
Upon investigation, it was determined that Blancas had died due to foul play. Police are actively investigating the circumstances and are reaching out to the public for any information that may help solve this case.
